We are committed to protecting your data.

Protecting your personal data is important to us. At MyMedia s.r.o., with registered office at Plaská 622/3, Malá Strana, 150 00 Prague 5, ID No.: 29015901, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, Insert 160111 (hereinafter referred to as "MyMedia"), we undertake to protect the personal data provided.

We keep our privacy policy up-to-date and in compliance with applicable law. For this reason, we may change them from time to time. Personal data and data subject

Special categories of personal data - this is a new designation of sensitive personal data.

What legislation governs the processing of personal data?

The processing of personal data is governed in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter referred to as "GDPR"). In some cases, where the GDPR allows, national regulations may provide for different rules. These are governed by Act No. 101/2000 Coll. on the protection of personal data, as amended.

Personal data controller

The controller is the natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data and is primarily responsible for the processing. Unless otherwise specified in this Policy or in the terms of service of a particular service, MyMedia is the data controller.

Personal data processor

A processor is a natural or legal person who, on the basis of instructions from the controller, processes personal data for the controller.

Period of processing of personal data

We keep your personal data only for the necessary period of time and archive it according to the legal time limits imposed by law.

We process personal data for the duration of the contractual relationship or other legal title that allows us to process your personal data. This means that we have set up strict internal rules to check the lawfulness of holding personal data and that we do not hold data for longer than we are entitled to. Once we lose the lawful reason, we delete the relevant personal data.

We only retain personal data that we process with your consent for the duration of the purpose for which consent was given.

Why and what personal data we process

We sell goods through in-line stores to several countries. Some of your personal data is necessary for the delivery of goods. Other personal data you do not need to tell us, they are not strictly necessary for the processing of your order. However, if you choose to provide it to us, we can do more for you.

Beyond the above, any other personal data may be processed if you, yourself, voluntarily provide it to us.

Why and what personal data we process

The personal data you have provided to us may be processed by MyMedia's external collaborators and suppliers. These include carriers, payment gateways, IT and marketing services, etc. We carefully select the entities that cooperate with us based on guarantees that ensure the technical and organisational protection of the personal data transmitted to us. The processing of personal data may only be carried out for MyMedia by processors, and only on the basis of a data processing contract.

At MyMedia we have a considerable amount of data. In order to ensure their security, availability and the implementation of certain services, we transfer some data, which may have the nature of personal data, for processing outside the Czech Republic. Specifically, these are cloud services (data storage) of the respective suppliers in other EU member states and in the USA.
